INFRASTRUCTURE

Classrooms & Multipurpose Hall

The Oxford College of Nursing offers spacious, well-ventilated, and technology-enabled classrooms with modern audio-visual facilities and comfortable seating for up to 250 students, creating an ideal environment for interactive learning.

The college also has a modern multipurpose hall with seating for 600–700 students, designed to host seminars, workshops, conferences, guest lectures, cultural programs, and academic events — supporting students' overall academic and professional development..

LAB FACILITIES

The Oxford College of Nursing has seven modern, fully equipped laboratories that bridge classroom learning and clinical practice. Each lab features advanced equipment, simulation models, mannequins, and audio-visual aids to build students' confidence, clinical skills, and professional competence.

Stimulation lab

V R Lab

  • Nursing Foundation Lab – A skills lab with adequate number of practice beds and essential equipment for hands-on training in fundamental nursing procedures before clinical postings.
  • Community Health Nursing Lab – Trains students in home-visit techniques, family health assessment, and community-based care using modern home-visit kits and equipment.
  • Advanced Nursing Skills Lab – A simulation lab offering practical training in advanced procedures to strengthen clinical decision-making and patient care skills.
  • Obstetric & Gynecological Nursing Lab – Equipped with maternal and child health models, delivery simulators, and INC-prescribed equipment for managing normal and high-risk obstetric care.
  • Pre-Clinical Science Lab – Contains skeletons, bones, anatomical models, specimens, and charts for an in-depth understanding of human anatomy and body systems.
  • Audio-Visual Aids Room – A resource centre with LCD projectors, smart teaching tools, and multimedia systems for interactive, engaging classroom instruction.
  • Nutrition Laboratory – Where students learn therapeutic diet planning, food preparation, nutritional assessment, and dietary management for patient care.

CLINICAL FACILITIES

The Oxford College of Nursing offers outstanding clinical training through its 750-bed multi-specialty teaching hospital, providing hands-on experience across departments such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Dermatology, and TB & Chest Diseases.

The hospital features advanced operation theatres, modern ICUs (ICU, ICCU, PICU/NICU), labour rooms, 24×7 emergency services, radiology, laboratory, blood bank, pharmacy, and ambulance services for comprehensive patient care and real-world exposure.

For Community Health Nursing, students gain field experience at affiliated Primary Health Centres in Jigani (Urban) and Chandapura (Rural), building essential community healthcare skills.
